6 People Burned In Philadephia Explosion: Authorities

An apparent generator explosion at a construction site in Manayunk left six people burned on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 4, Philadelphia fire officials told Daily Voice.

First responders were called to the Flat Rock Road site around 3:15 p.m., the department said.

The victims were treated on the scene and taken to an area hospital.

The Fire Marshall's Office continues to investigate the cause of the explosion, they added.
