WestConn In Danbury To Host Holistic, Integrative Health Discussion

DANBURY, Conn. -- The public is invited to a panel discussion on holistic health and fitness on Wednesday at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.

“Holistic and Integrative Health Initiatives: Part One,” is an opportunity for the community to learn about alternative approaches to health and wellness, and meet practitioners in the Danbury area.

The program is free and hosted by the WCSU Institute for Holistic Health Studies. 

Panelists include: 

  • Lara Azzarito Ward, Yoga Teacher: A WCSU graduate and owner of Lotus Gardens Yoga School in Danbury, she trains others to open their own yoga businesses. 
  • Deana Paqua, Shamanic Healer and Reiki Master Teacher: A Fairfield University graduate and owner of Embody the Sacred in Ridgefield where she specializes in a holistic approach to wellness. 
  • Seana Hart, Certified Personal Trainer: A WCSU graduate and owner of EarthFIT and WholeFIT service businesses, where she coaches clients in adapting holistic lifestyles and in making mental and physical transformations.

The discussion takes place 6-8 p.m. in Room 218 of the Westside Classroom Building on Westside campus located at 43 Lake Ave. Extension.
