Stepinac Football Team Appears On 'Good Morning America'

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Archbishop Stepinac High School's Catholic High School Athletic Association state champion varsity football team was seen this morning by millions of viewers of ABC News' top-rated "Good Morning America" Show.

The producers of the morning live news broadcast invited the team to be recognized on camera for winning their first-ever CHSAA New York State Football Championship crown last week by defeating St. Francis High School, 42-28.
