WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Emmy award-winning sportscaster and NFL legend Ahmad Rashad will be hosting the fifth annual Ahmad Rashad Golf Classic to benefit White Plains Hospital on Sunday, June 22.
The event, presented by Delta Air Lines, was a star-studded sold out success in 2013, and will feature an opening cocktail reception at 42 Restaurant in the Ritz Carlton, White Plains.
It will feature lavish hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment in a breathtaking setting atop the Ritz Carlton Westchester with views of the Manhattan skyline.
The golf classic will begin the following morning at the Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 23.
Participants in the tournament will be paired with sports stars and celebrities in attendance, and treated to many on-course refreshments and activities. An awards ceremony, cocktail party and dinner with live entertainment will follow.

Celebrities expected to attend include Anthony Anderson, Tony Dovolani, Ken Griffey Jr., Branford Marsalis, Jay Harris, Paul O’Neill, Alan Thicke, Nisha and Seema Sadekar and Ahmad Rashad.

All proceeds from the Ahmad Rashad Golf Classic will directly benefit White Plains Hospital.
