RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Chamber of Commerce is asking for community participation in an online Consumer Survey to understand why Rye likes to shop local or why not. Click here for a link to the survey.
The website link will be active from April 4 through April 30. The Survey asks about use of local restaurants, professional services and specialty shops throughout Rye’s various business districts and takes only five minutes to complete.
“We are teaming up with the local community to hear your views about shopping local---what you like, what you want , and where are areas for improvement", said Margaret Ricketts of Carpet Trends, who serves as the president of the Rye Chamber of Commerce.
“We hope to gain valuable feedback on how we can improve the shopping experience in Rye and continue to have a thriving business community that meets the needs of our residents, “she said. “With so many changes in the make-up of Rye’s local businesses, and neighboring communities, it is important to have feedback on what Rye residents want, Ricketts explained. With results from the Survey, we will know valuable information on how local businesses can meet our community’s needs.”
