RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Running Company is getting Rye residents moving with their full line of running gear.
Part of a chain launched by Olympic trials qualifier Gene Mitchell, the store is geared toward the extreme runner or the recreational jogger. The shop is at 37 Purchase St., and manager Tim Rabb touted its "Gait Analysis System," which helps athletes select sneakers that allow for any injuries the wearer may suffer from.
They also offer nutrition advice from pre-loading before running and boosting energy both during and after running.
Brands include Nike, Saucony, The North Face, New Balance, Brooks, Asics and Lolle (for yoga).
