New Spa Opens In Rye

RYE, N.Y. – It looks like just another high-end make-up shop, but Bluemercury, now open at 61 Purchase St. in Rye, is a whole lot more.

This 2,400-square-foot space is filled with all the top brands, like Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, La Prairie and NARS, but it also offers an extensive menu of spa treatments. Facials, glycolic peels, microdermabrasion are offered, as well as waxing, brow styling, hot stone massages and more.

Macy’s paid $210 million eight months ago to buy the Bluemercury chain from founder Marla Malcolm Beck, who opened the Rye store as her 44th location. Beck is now CEO.

Bluemercury also opened a store in Bronxville in September.
