At Skin N.Y., an age-management company in Rye, Owner Julie Pipolo is all about authenticity so when she tells you you need something -- or you don't -- you listen. So said Lisa Ersoff, of Purchase, who has been going to Pipolo for years and swears by her anti-aging treatments.

Indeed, something must be working as Pipolo, for the second time in close to three years, has doubled her space.

Five years ago, she was in the Rye Brook Shopping Center, then moved to Purchase Street two years ago where, as of this week, she broke through to the vacant store next door, practically doubling her space.

"When I heard there was a vacancy next door I knew I could finally complete my vision and add a dream team of doctors and specialists to my facility," Pipolo said. The new space gives her two extra treatment rooms and an office, giving her a total of four treatment rooms for facials, acupuncture, nutritionist consultations, Botox, dermaplanning, teeth whitening and more.

"Basically, I've taken the team that's taken care of me over the years into one office space," she said. "We're now better able to treat not only external issues but internal."

Her holistic approach means she now has a medical director/plastic surgeon (Dr. Scott Wells who works out of Park Avenue in Manhattan), a massage therapist/Reiki specialist, an acupuncturist/metaphysical physician, a teen specialist, someone who does facial rejuveniation and body treatments, two medical estheticians, a nutritionist, a hormone specialist, a holistic MD, and a Manhattan-based dermatatolgist.

Plus Pipolo, a 30-plus veteran and licensed aesthetician who is the visionary behind it all.

"Every piece of the pie is in place now," she said. "We have all the resources for helping folks age gracefully and with intelligence.

"I pinch myself everyday that this has finally come to fruition," she added. "There's no better feeling than when you get those calls that people are looking in the mirror and feeling and looking great both internally and externally."
